Lifelong Learning Opportunities

The continuing pursuit of knowledge to build skills, explore new ideas, enhance understanding and enrich life.
A growing number of older adults expect to remain in the workforce longer and may have difficulty finding employment without updating their knowledge and skills. Formal education programs may be a key strategy for increasing the contributions of older adults.   Lifelong Learning has been proven to:

  • Create a positive impact on health
  • Improve quality of life
  • Increase knowledge and awareness
  • Increase adaptability
  • Improve mind and brain stimulation
  • Create a sense of purpose
  • Increase self-esteem
  • Promote social interaction
