INTRODUCTION
On December 3rd, 2025, Delaware County Council approved 6-89 of the Delaware County Charter, establishing a Human Relations Commission (HRC) to mediate discrimination claims in Delaware County.
The Delaware County HRC is a board comprised of 7-13 individuals, appointed by the County’s Executive Director, and approved by County Council. Members will serve staggered three-year terms and may include up to three non-voting ex officio members to broaden representation.
