DCHD Announces 2nd Annual Back-to-School Fair and Donation Drive
YEADON PA, - The Delaware County Health Department (DCHD) is excited to announce its second annual Back-to-School Fair, supported by its DCHD Delivers Donation Drive. The 2nd Annual Back-to-School Fair will take place on August 16, 2025, at the Delaware County Wellness Center at Yeadon, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. DCHD will offer free school vaccinations, health screenings, backpacks, school supplies, haircuts, and resources.
Parents MUST REGISTER for backpacks and school supplies.
Registration and qualification for vaccines are also required.
To help prepare students for a successful school year, DCHD is encouraging residents and community members to contribute essential school supplies through its countywide DCHD Delivers Donation Drive. Donations of new school supplies, stationery, and hygiene items will be accepted at 32 locations across Delaware County through August 8, 2025.
Donation locations range from DCHD Wellness Centers, County Offices, County Libraries, Franklin Mint, and YMCA locations. The full list of drop-off locations can be found on DCHD’s Back-to-School page.
Needed Items:
New School Supplies: Notebooks, Binders, Folders, Loose-leaf paper, Rulers
Stationery Items: Pens, Pencils, Colored pencils/markers, Dry-erase markers, Erasers, Highlighters, Glue sticks, Crayons
Hygiene Supplies: Hand sanitizer, Antibacterial wipes, Tissues
