Delaware County to Hold Opioid Settlement Strategic Planning Meetings February 24th and 26th
Delaware County, PA — Delaware County Council invites community members to attend upcoming Opioid Settlement Strategic Planning Meetings from 9 AM to noon on Tuesday February 24 and Thursday February 26.
These meetings are part of a comprehensive planning process facilitated by the Steadman Group, reflecting Delaware County’s commitment to using opioid settlement funds strategically and effectively to address the opioid crisis in our community. Throughout the process, Delaware County will be engaging stakeholders, grantees, and community members to develop a strategic plan that reflects the priorities of Delco residents and ensures maximum impact.
Due to the declared snow emergency, all Delaware County Opioid Settlement Strategic Planning meetings have been moved to a virtual-only format via Zoom. Please RSVP to the registration links to receive a calendar invite with the meeting Zoom links.
The meeting on Tuesday, February 24 will be held from 9 AM to noon and the primary audience is grantees and other stakeholders, although everyone is welcome to attend. Please register here.
The meeting on Thursday, February 26 will be held from 9 AM to noon and the primary audience is community groups and individuals with lived/living experience, although everyone is welcome to attend. Please register here.
Meetings will focus on:
- A review of opioid settlement funding requirements
- Delaware County’s opioid response progress
- Initial inputs from grantees’ evaluation
- Gap analysis
- Focus groups
- Interviews
- Discussion of stakeholders’ needs
- Framing the strategic planning process and planned outcomes
- Beginning development of the Strategic Plan Vision and Mission
